PS3 Problem, Help appreciated.?

I had the same "Green Snow" problem that you described. I think it has go to do with overheating, as i had played a game (resistance) for hours, went to put another game in and got the green snow. I let it cool down and it worked fine. I think that if you do have a PS3, you need some sort of cooling mech to stop it over heating. Just get an old fan (clean the grill so there is no dust and crap on it) and sit it behind the PS3 while it is turned on. I haven't had a problem with over heating since then.
