Can you quit your joband still file for unemployment in nc?

i had acl reconstruction surgery 5 months ago.ive recently return to work and ask for a brief time frame not to work on my knees.but i got put right back on them and have been threaten that they could replace me if i couldnot do the job....anyone help me
