About the Low Income Clinic?

well to be honest with u i didnt really understand, but i work at a comunity clinic and we have a sliding scale for patients that qualify for it. they start at $30,40,50,or $60 depending on ur income. but then u also have to provide us with proof of income and if you dont u will be considered self pay wich means u have to pay full price for the consult. oh yeah and when we put u on the discount program it also includes all labs and x rays including the ekg that is performed at the time of visit. so the only thing i can think of is that maybe u didnt provide tehm with the paperwork so they can put you in to the sliding scale fee.
