Heelp! what is this song?

in the beggining it has this very hard sounding violin riff, it sounds really heavy metal. and that riff is carried though the song. and i know for a fact that it is not bittersweet synphony. that song is way too alternative sounding. one of my friends said it was from korn but im not sure.
