Why does my 4yr old hate Jews?

My son came into the kitchen this morning and said, "Daddy, I hate the Jews at my school." I was immediately mortified. "What on earth? " I thought, as my mind began to race. Has he said this to another child or a teacher and if so, am I going to be tagged as a racist by the other pre-school parents? Maybe some child is picking on him? No,no,no... that's nonsense ....if anything - he'd be the bully. OMG! That's even worse. What have I done? Have I spawned a little skinhead?Then I went into logic mode. "How does my 4 yr old discern religious differences at this age?" Surely there aren't 4 yr olds at his school dressed in scarves, yarmuls and kippahs. Wait, wait,...focus Dave... let's get to the bottom of this. I knelt down and placed my hands on my son's shoulders and in a gentle fatherly tone I asked, " Son, ... why do you hate the Jews at your school?" His reply...... " 'Cause it's sour and it makes the cookies taste bad."

My 16 month old son scoots around on his , and refuses to crawl. Anyone else deal with this?

If any one else has a child that did this, did they have any problems making the transition to walking? He scoots very fast, and stands on his own, but won't attempt to walk or travel (move along furniture) or pull himself up.

Sounds like she might like you, and you definitely seem to like her. It's great that you're communicating already, and that you are comfortable with eachother. After more time goes by and you become a little close, you should ask her to study or something, and see how it goes. But take it slow so things don't get rushed or awkward.

Legal Advice needed!!!?

Over a year ago I got pulled over. The cop did not like me very much and he ended up giving me tickets, one for going too fast, not yielding to a pedestrian, and something dealing with insurance. Now the main problem I faced was the insurance issue, I had been paying the car insurance however he said I had none even though I had receipts that I presented to him. Now the insurance was in my mothers name and because she switched insurance and never turned in the plates apparently it canceled the registration which I was unaware of. I am trying to get a lawyer. What do you think will happen. Also I never made it to court because I moved for school, and my old lawyer was suppose to take care of it however he dropped me a day before the court date so its still open.

Its very good. but very abrupt, unless this is just bits and pieces posted here. Some of my advice would be to add some character descriptions. I think it would be good if you gave a little more background on Abagail and Johnny. Why did they get in a fight? why did he want to break up with her? And why is Abagail so fast at just talking to Jacob? Think about it this way, would you talk to someone you just met on the street even if they were your age? I think its a very good story but needs a lot more character development. Keep it up though =) Your amazing for being only thirteen!

I am 7 weeks preggo and my hcg was 26000 on Sat, and 28000 today (mon) my doc thinks I will MC...opinions?

So, I am waiting to find a doc that will treat me....I have Lupus ( high risk) and am 7 weeks pregnant. My last ultrasound showed a sac but no fetus. My HCG was 26000 on Sat night and 28000 this monday morning. I had cramping but no blood. The doc thinks I am going to MC and said I should schedule a DNC. I CANT do that till I know for SURE that this is not going to work out. It's a mental thing for me, unless I know there is NO hope. Otherwise I will always wonder. Is there anyone who has had a similar situation good or bad, I would like to have some opinions. Meanwhile I am just dying to know what the heck is going on.... :( Sad and worried in Maine....

How to help my kitten go to sleep?

I found a tiny abandoned kitten a few days ago, I guess she's about a week old. For the first two days she spent most of the time sleeping, but yesterday she kept me awake all night, crawling around in her box and crying. I don't know what the problem is - she is fed and watered, warm and dry (doesn't have a fever) and she goes to the toilet regularly. She also began scratching my hand quite hard when she's feeding, she seems restless all the time and it's quite heartbreaking. Do you know what could be wrong and how to help her (and me) have some sleep? Thanks for suggestions...

i would trade out one of the ARI WRs and put in Dez Bryant. he is going to get a lot of looks and its only a matter of time until he turns one into a TD. he caught 8 of 12 targets last week. they are going against a weaker defense and the targets arent going to go anywhere. personally i would go with on and bryant. on has a better rapport with derek anderson so far.

What can I do to get medical treatment?

Uninsured, Broke, and Jobless. I have been looking actively for a job for 6months. I now have no money, no insurance, and if it weren't for family I would be homeless right now. For the last 4 days I have been feeling pain in the left side of my chest, general dis-ease, and sometimes an odd feeling in my arm. I am concerned it may be a heart attack brewing, but I have no money to seek treatment. I'm at my wits end at this point. No one I know has the money to foot the bill, and especially if it turns out to be nothing. My question is, what should I do? I have no car, no phone, and my sibling I am staying with is out of state till Tuesday. I don't want to go to an ER because of the extra high costs, but I fear I would get denied treatment elsewhere because of my money-less status.
