Any white kids or half white kids out there that grew up in a major city out there?

I was just wondering if you guys felt racism growing up in hispanic and black neighborhoods? I grew up in Los Angeles myself and my son goes to a public school out here and constantly gets messed with for being part white. Is it just me, or are blacks and hispanics really racist? I'm German and Chinese and my sons mother is Italian and Japanese. Things weren't so bad for us growing up here, least not racially.
