Is it legal for the TSA to strip search children?

I have no idea if this is legal, but I'm posting to say that this is disgusting. This should be done behind closed doors at the least. I understand them strip searching a child (could be planted with something), but it is cruel and disgusting do to this in front of other people. Just like that incident with the woman who had her shirt yanked up, revealing her to the public, it is plain wrong. Seeing this just makes me so upset because they will say or do something to make this appropriate. In my opinion, it is not legal.
