Motorcycle repair 1200 sportster when cruise at 35 or 45 mph. it want to stall out a litte back fire.?

But with a little throttle responds. It stop but every time at cruise it happens.carburetor been cleaned, fuel system too. Idle good , some have told me I need to adjust the mixture screw. please help in what need to be done.
